I often draw during my spare time with colored pencils. On DeviantArt, there is a Deviant(?) whom I really like named Carkki, and she draws a whole lot of Sonic stuff. I like one of her Original Characters, Tom "Tomato" the Hedgehog. He's very interesting to work with. I drew this recently.

The story behind this is...

Tom went to Green Forest, (which True-Blue Sonic Faithfuls like myself know was bombed out by Robotnik in Sonic Adventure 2,) where among the burned trees and ashes, he found a lone flower.

Now this guy is at one with nature. Wait, no. He is nature. He can speak to plants, he feels their emotions, et cetera et cetera et cetera. The only thing he can't do is control it... much. The most he can do is make a small sapling or a little plant form.

When he arrived at Green Forest, he heard nothing. Silence. It was like how it would sound if you were the last living creature on Mobius. (Or Earth, if you don't know about SatAm or the comics.) Yeah. That silent. But after a few second, he heard a small voice, like that of a young child, crying for help.

He then took off at full speed (which isn't all that fast, seeing as he's not like Sonic or Manic) towards the center of the forest. Once he reached the center, he found a small grotto, in which there was a thin pillar of light, which was shining down on a lone flower, one of a crimson color and an unknown breed. He kneeled down beside it, patted it, as though comforting it, and said "I heard it... the voice of a child, crying out from the ruins... I heard it..." He then proceeded to remove the plant from its earthly embrace and place it on his head, next to his left ear. Since that day, the flower has not moved from the spot where he put it.

Now just so I don't get roasted by anyone, I give full credit to Carkki for the character, but the picture and story was all me.

Please tell me what you think. I will take good reviews, constructive criticism. If I get "You and/or Sonic suck/sucks," I'll say you should have read my profile statement.

I often have surges of inspiration, so If you want me to post more, just say so. Also, I am most all the time at a loss for inspiration, so I'll take requests. I only work with colored pencils (yes, I don't have any professional art supplies) and I am best with Sonic style, mechanical stuff (armor, vehicles, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera,) and most anything that isn't human. And NO I will not do any sort of porn in any way, shape or form. If I see that, I'll know which one of you are pervs.

Oh, and I don't take to kindly to spammers either. *cough cough* INSTANT BAN *cough cough*

Like I said in my most recent post, I found a way to touch up the image. Tell me what you think.

Meh...

Wait... are you saying it needs something, or you just don't like it? Please tell me.

needs somthin in the background

There is, actually. It's just hard to see, due to the fact that it's scanned. It's actually burned-down trees, very lightly sketched. There's also the pillar of light. Sorry for the bad quality.
